International Overdose Awareness Day 2026

On August 31, 2026, LC-CORE will host an International Overdose Awareness Day event. This community initiative aims to increase awareness, provide education about overdose trends and prevention strategies, honor those we have lost, and offer hope and resources to individuals and families impacted by substance use.

Planned activities include:

• A remembrance walk

• Community education

• Food trucks

• A guest speaker who will share their expertise and lived experiences
